My fanzine originally on the theme of 'smoke' but which sort of gradually morphed into a way to vent my dislike of certain things! An A3 sheet which folds out into a poster celebrating pyromania, hypothetically of course. Will be selling copies at the CSM zine fair hopefully. Am done with folding and hand lettering, it hurts my hands. (The bottom photo is an A0 copy of the fold out poster, I like things in large scale).
Small hand bound book attempting to categorize and document a box of junk that I own. Dry point etchings = Hand Killer. There are 10 pages in this book, the binding went pretty well considering it was my first real attempt, not perfect but there's always room for improvement.
For the second part of the context brief we had to choose a subject and document it in 100 via grids, making it into a system. I chose the first two shelves on my bookcase. The second grid is just the images in a random order, the first grid is trying to make some sort of sense of it. I chose to colour code it, which ended up being a far longer process than I had anticipated.
On the last day of the battle, or more like the last time we did anything (hopefully it will resume at some point), Rachel chose 'Romy' aka our chosen judge.
